Breidden Hills is an off-road fell race organised by Mercia Fell Runners Club and held at Criggion Village Hall, Criggion, SY5 9AY. The race distance is 11.5 km with total ascent of 790 m. Entry is by pre-registration only; the entry fee is £8.00. The event has an age minimum of 18 or older. Entries open 21 September 2025 and close 10 October 2025. Entries so far: 12 participants. The race is a counter in regional series events - listed as the final counter in the WFRA championships and the first counter in the Shropshire Winter series.

Course and requirements

The route uses the Breidden Hills and includes significant climb and technical descents; fell running skills and navigation may be needed. The route crosses private land in places. Organisers note that full FRA safety kit may be required depending on weather and that no safety pins should be used.
