A historic short fell race on 12 August 2026 centred at Buxworth Memorial Club. The course is 3.4 miles 5.5 km with 275 m of climb, entry is £10 and numbers are collected on the day.

Take on the classic Whittle Pike fell race in the South West Pennines on Wed 12 Aug 2026, roughly 5.5 miles with 550 m of climb from Cowpe Village Hall. Entry on the day is available for £5, teams welcome and runners must be 16 or over.

An organised 7.3 km route around Darley Dale featuring forest trails, long climbs and technical descents, finishing across a field after a steep final ascent to Oker Trig Point.

A challenging fell race in the Peak District featuring 370m of climb over a 6km course. Entry is on the day at Cartworth Moor Cricket Club near Holmfirth. The route is well marked and marshalled for a classic short fell running experience.

A relaunch of the village fell race in Flagg, Peak District, featuring a mainly off-road 5.5 miles route through fields, lanes and country roads. The course returns with a steady one and a half mile downhill back to the village.

A towpath trail event in Saltaire offering distances from 10k to ultra. Feed stations every three miles, a bespoke finisher medal and nearby train access make it a straightforward canal-side race day.

A moorland fell race around Ilkley with a 35 km loop and a 21 km point to point option. The unmarked route crosses multiple moors, has two aid stations and requires runners to use a GPX or route map.

Join the Rusland 5, a scenic fell race across Rusland Showfield in the Lake District featuring a 4.8 mile route with 310 m of climb and shorter senior and junior options. Race entry is free; the show costs £5 and accepts entries on the day.

Trail runs through the private Lambton Estate in County Durham with 5 km, 5 mile, 10 mile and 15 mile options. Canicross friendly, chip timed and with on site parking.

A trail half marathon in Morland, Eden Valley, covering 13.6 miles of mixed off road terrain with about 1330 ft of ascent. The largely self navigated route has two checkpoints and a five hour cut off and welcomes runners and walkers.

A 10 km circular trail around Piethorne and Ogden reservoirs on 16 August 2026, using bridleways with an out and back to Hollingworth Lake. The course includes about 275 m of ascent and several twists and turns.
