PECO XC Junior League 2026-27 Race 3
This is the third race in the PECO Junior Cross Country League, a series of five cross country races organised in and around Leeds alongside the senior race league. Races are chip timed and run over a single lap on an undulating cross country course. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs and a race licence has been applied for.
Age groups and distances:
- Approximately 1 mile for those under 11 on 1 September 2026 (usually school years 2 to 6)
- Approximately 2 miles for those aged 11 or over but under 16 on 1 September 2026 (usually school years 7 to 11)
Race registration and toilets are at The Dug Out Bar, John Charles Centre for Sport. The race start and finish are in The Clearings, Middleton Park, about a 10 minute walk from registration. All entrants are allocated a race number with an embedded timing chip which must be kept for the whole season; replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £2.50 for juniors. Entry is limited to 700 places; remaining places were listed as 697. Season tickets are sold online for £8 and cover the remaining races plus the end of season relays and prize presentation.
