Trail Running calendar near Burley Woodhead 2026-2027

A 36 mile tracked ultra with 4,487 ft of ascent on a circular route from Glaisdale along the Esk Valley Walk. Five checkpoints, finishers medal, water and snacks are included and trophies are awarded in multiple categories.

The Lakeland Trails Staveley will take place in Staveley on Saturday 1 May 2027. You can run between 5 and 21 kilometers.

A single-day ultra of about 35.5 miles from Wigan to Tarporley, run as Day 4 of the MTC ALBION end to end series. Field is limited and the race enforces a 4.0 mph minimum pace; navigation, tracking and mandatory kit are required.
