Trail Running calendar near Buckhurst Hill 2026-2027

A five mile off road race through woods and farmland around Hurstbourne Tarrant in the North Wessex Downs. Organised entirely by volunteers since 2009, the annual event donates all proceeds to local charities.

A combined entry for four Centurion Running 100 mile events across 2027, covering Thames Path, South Downs Way, North Downs Way and Autumn 100. Entries open 31 May 2026 with a minimum age of 20 on 1 May 2027.

A marked 100 mile point-to-point race along the Thames Path from Richmond to Oxford, with a 30 hour cut-off, at least twelve aid stations and mandatory kit. Pacers allowed from mile 51 and entries open 31 May 2026.

Shires and Spires is a Naseby based running event with routes on roads and trails that change direction each year, offering distances from a 10K up to a 35 mile ultra and charity entry options.

A road marathon and half marathon based at Suffolk Running Centre near Bury St Edmunds, using measured routes with aid stations every 10 km. Entries include parking and a bespoke finisher medal; the event is cupless so bring your own bottle..

A 30th anniversary road marathon organised by Halstead Road Runners, set on scenic low traffic roads in North Essex. The event supports local charities, forms part of the Essex championships and limits entries to 500.

A 30 km one-day trail run through the Chiltern Hills from Tring, featuring rolling hills, on-route guidance and trail technique instruction, checkpoint refreshments and a finisher’s medal.
