Chiltern Hills 100K

The Chiltern Hills 100K is a 100 kilometre trail ultra held on an anticlockwise loop through the Chiltern Hills. The route passes landmarks such as the Ashridge Estate, Ivinghoe Beacon to Aldbury on The Ridgeway, Tring Park, Wendover, Coombe Hill, Whiteleaf Hill, Bledlow Ridge, Great Hampden and Great Missenden before returning to Chesham.

The event is based at Chesham Guides Headquarters in Lowndes Park, Chesham, HP5 1HX. The course is fully marked with orange arrows and ribbons. GPS tracking is provided with open tracking and all runners must carry a GPX route on a watch or phone plus a printed map issued at registration. Chip timing, live results and medical support are provided. The race is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules. It has a UTMB World Series index and a maximum field of 250 runners. Minimum entry age is 20 and the time allowed is 19 hours. Total ascent is listed as 1800m plus.

There are six checkpoints, including Hastoe Village Hall (14 km and 41.4 km), Little Gaddesden (28 km), Whiteleaf Hill (57.8 km), Bledlow Ridge Village Hall (75.3 km) and Little Hampden (88 km). Checkpoints offer water, soft drinks, Precision Fuel & Hydration products, gels and chews, snacks, pre-made sandwiches, Chia Charge flapjacks and fresh fruit. Hot drinks and additional water are available at selected points. Runners must carry mandatory safety and clothing items, a reusable cup and basic first aid supplies, and may use a drop bag at Hastoe. Trail races of Half Marathon, 10K and 5K run from Marlow Rugby Union Football Club on 28 June 2026, using marked off road routes through the Thames Valley countryside with marshals, chip timing and race photos.

A June 28th trail event at 3 Brewers Brewery in Hertfordshire offering 5 km and 10 km multi terrain laps, mostly off road, with a medal, pint cup and free drink for finishers plus live jazz and charity fundraising.

Silsoe Stride on 28 June 2026 features scenic 5K and 10K races plus children’s runs at Wrest Park. The event is organised by village volunteers and community groups with profits shared among local beneficiaries.
