Trail Running calendar near Murphys Creek 2026-2027

On 12 July 2026 the Somerset Rail Trail Classic offers running, walking and cycling options along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, with distances from 3 km to 44 km and a community focus under Somerset Regional Council.

Trail running at Lake Manchester, QLD with distances from a 1 km kids dash to a 23 km loop. Water stops, aid stations and a no disposable cup policy; proceeds go to the TRAQ Charity Fund.

Trail event at Murphys Creek Recreation Reserve offering 7 km, 14 km and 21.1 km options on dirt roads and 4WD tracks. Three water stops, post-event stalls and race pack collection are provided.

A two day mountain biking and trail running event at Hidden Vale Adventure Park in Grandchester, Queensland, on 5 to 6 September 2026. The event uses more than 80 km of purpose-built trails and traces back to a 117 km 2002 ride.

A backyard ultra at Toowoomba Showgrounds where runners complete hourly laps of 6.706 km until only one runner remains; the event coincides with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and offers onsite camping and limited entries.
