July 2026

Community run, walk and bike event along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The 23rd Somerset Rail Trail Classic is on 12 July 2026 with 3 km and 8 km run or walk options and 20 km and 44 km bike rides.

A multi-distance trail running event at Mt Coot-Tha, Brisbane, featuring 105 km, 52 km, 21 km and 10 km courses. Several distances serve as qualifiers for Western States and UTMB Index events.

August 2026

A trail running event in Queensland offering distances from 10 km to 100 mile, with over 4000 m of elevation, mixed mountain terrain and a loop course based at Lilybrook Recreation Area. The 105 km finishers receive a cowboy hat.

Lake Manchester Trails on 16 August 2026 offers distances from a 1 km kids dash to a 23 km lake loop with river crossings, water stops and on-course first aid. Proceeds support the TRAQ Charity Fund.

Trail races of 21.1 km, 10 km and 5 km run from Griffith University Nathan campus through Toohey Forest on 20 September 2026. The cup less event includes a finisher medal and race merchandise.

October 2026

A multi-format running event at Oxley Creek Common in late October 2026, featuring 24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour events plus 5 km, 4 km and 3 km Drop elimination races. The Drop uses timed laps with runners eliminated each round.

November 2026

A 22km mountain trail race from Cedar Flats to the Maiala clearing with 1,200 m of ascent, rainforest single track, four checkpoints and included bus transport. The route features steep climbs, stone stairs and shaded ridge running.

December 2026

Trail race at the base of Mt Beerwah on 6 December 2026 offering Marathon, Half Marathon and 10 km courses with marked trails, water checkpoints with no disposable cups, and gear requirements including a 500 ml bottle and race bib.
