About the race
Red Run Day 2026 is an outdoor community event held at Enoggera Reservoir Circuit in D'Aguilar National Park, The Gap, Brisbane. The event features an 8.5 km trail run, jog and walk on wide fire trails around the reservoir, with some rough terrain and a few short hills. The route passes through forested shoreline with bush scenery and eucalyptus-scented air. The event is held in honour of Remembrance Day and raises funds for Trek2Health to support stigma-free mental wellness services for Queensland veterans and frontline personnel.
Registration is online; entry is $10 and participants are asked to raise at least $90 through individual fundraising pages. Reaching $100 including the entry fee earns a Red Run T-shirt, with additional rewards for higher fundraising tiers: a wilderness jacket and shirt at $500, and jacket, shirt and cap at $1,000. The first 100 people to raise $100 receive an endurance shirt.
All participants receive a race bib, Red Run medal and Trek2Health bandana. Support staff and roaming medical personnel provide aid and water stations along the route. After the event there is coffee and a complimentary barbecue provided by Ashgrove The Gap Lions Club.
