Flight Centre Cycle & Trail Run Epic 2027
The Flight Centre Cycle & Trail Run Epic is a two day mountain biking and trail running event held at Hidden Vale Adventure Park in Grandchester, QLD. The 2027 edition marks the event's 25th year and runs across purpose-built trails covering more than 80 km of singletrack and firebreaks on private land west of Brisbane.
The program includes multiple run and cycle categories over a range of distances. Courses are waymarked with coloured arrows and intersections are buntinged in two colours to indicate direction. Several longer courses share sections before splitting, and organisers provide course maps, 3D course previews, and GPS route previews for key intersections.
On the longer cycle courses there are multiple checkpoints and bottle drop or nutrition stations at specified kilometre marks. One feed station is located at the end of the Almost There trail near the 17 km mark on the 27 km loop. Distance signs appear approximately every 10 km on the longer routes. Trails used on the 27 km loop include Gully, 007, Buckshot, Dodgem, Western Ck, Dam Big, Dancing with Dingoes, Almost There, Ripple Effect, Fairy Wren, Plain Sailing, Rock Bottom, Escalator and Noodle.
