Mount Glorious Mountain Trails
Mount Glorious Mountain Trails is a 22 km trail race held at Cedar Flats, Red Cedar Park, Dundas. The route gains about 1,200 m and descends about 650 m. The course follows ridgeline firebreaks, drops to England Creek at the midpoint, climbs continuously for 600 m to the summit area, then follows a historic stone-lined ridge trail to a finish at the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area.
The event date in 2026 is Sunday 8 November. Entry is restricted to participants 18 years and older. The published entry fee is A$95 with a 10% discount for TRAQ members; refunds are available up to two weeks before the event less a A$20 administration charge. The field limit for 2026 is 150 runners. A published cut-off time for the course is 11:30 am.
There are two start waves; published results may be adjusted by wave and podium places are awarded to the first three men and first three women across the line. Event buses are provided as part of the entry fee to transport runners between The Gap Park N Ride and the start; bus transport is also used to transfer bags to the finish area. Parking at the start and Park N Ride is limited.
This is a remote course. Participants must carry at least 1 litre of water; this will be checked pre-race. Top-ups are available at three self-help points and at a manned midpoint checkpoint at England Creek, where sports drink, fruit and gels are supplied. Post-race food includes sandwiches, fruit and liquids and coffee is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
