Mount Glorious Mountain Trails

The Mount Glorious Mountain Trails is a trail running event held at Cedar Flats second picnic area, Red Cedar Park, Dundas 4306, on Sunday 8 November 2026. The main race distance is 22 km with a total elevation gain of 1,200 m and total descent of 650 m. Entry fee is A$100.00 with a 10% discount for TRAQ members. Participants must be over 18 years of age on race day. The event has a restricted field size (150 in 2026). Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event less a A$20 administration charge.

Course and logistics

The course climbs from Cedar Flats, follows the ridgeline and Northbrook Mountain, descends to England Creek (the manned midpoint checkpoint), then climbs to the summit of Mount Glorious before finishing at the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area. There are four checkpoints: three self-help points (CP1, CP3, CP4) with water and first aid boxes and one manned midpoint at England Creek offering water, sports drink, fruit, energy gel and first aid. Runners must carry their own water (minimum 1 L); refills are available at the checkpoints and there will be no disposable cups, so a refillable container is required. Event buses are provided and included in the entry fee; parking at the start area is limited. Post-race food includes a brunch of sandwiches, fruit and liquids, and coffee is available. Two start waves are used and prizes are awarded to the first three men and women across the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
