Mount Glorious Mountain Trails

The Mount Glorious Mountain Trails is a single-course trail race starting at Cedar Flats, Red Cedar Park in Dundas and finishing at the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area. The route covers 22 km with a total elevation gain of 1,200 m and a total descent of 650 m. The course follows ridge firebreaks and single-track through rainforest, passes over Northbrook Mountain, descends to England Creek (the manned midpoint checkpoint) and includes the stone-lined western ridge trail to the Western Window before the final run to the finish.

The event requires participants to be over 18 on race day. Entry details for 2026 show an entry fee of A$95 with a 10% discount for members, a variable restricted field size (150 in 2026) and a refund option up to two weeks before the event less a $20 administration charge. Entry includes use of event buses to the start; bibs are issued as runners board and buses transport bags from the start to the finish. Parking at Red Cedar Flats and at the Park N Ride at The Gap is limited and carpooling is recommended.

This is a remote area so runners must carry at least 1 litre of water and a refillable container. Top-ups are available at three self-help checkpoints and at the manned midpoint at England Creek, which also provides drinks, snacks and basic first aid. There will be no cups on course.
