Mount Glorious Mountain Trails

The Mount Glorious Mountain Trails is a single-day trail running event held from Cedar Flats in Red Cedar Park, Dundas. The marked course is 22 km with a total elevation gain of 1,200 m and total descent of 650 m. The route runs along the western side of the ridge, passing Northbrook Mountain, England Creek and a continuous climb to the summit of Mount Glorious, then follows a stone-lined western ridge single trail to finish at the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area.

The course includes one manned midpoint checkpoint at England Creek and three self-help checkpoints that provide water and basic first aid supplies. The manned midpoint offers water, sports drink, gels and fruit. Because the area is remote, each participant must carry at least 1 litre of water and a refillable container; water will be checked before the start and there are no cups on course.

Entry is restricted to persons aged 18 years or older. The published entry fee for the event is A$95.00 with a 10% discount for TRAQ members using the membership code. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the event less a A$20 administration fee. Field size is restricted and varies by year, with 150 entrants listed for 2026. Event buses from The Gap Park N Ride are provided and included in the entry fee; parking at start and Park N Ride is limited so carpooling is encouraged. The event has a cutoff time of 11:30 am.
