XTERRA Lake Tahoe 5K and 10K

The XTERRA Lake Tahoe 5K and 10K Trail Run is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Incline Village, Nevada. The race starts and finishes at the Village Green, a large open grass community field where the event is staged. The 5K is one lap of the marked course and the 10K is two laps; the second lap returns to the venue to create a viewing area for spectators.

Course, services and fees

The course heads north from the Village Green onto the local trail system and passes through areas of tall pines and aspens and includes creek crossings. The event is produced in conjunction with the XTERRA Lake Tahoe triathlon. The organizer noted that no event was scheduled for 2025 due to trail closures related to the Marlette Lake Dam Resilient Infrastructure Project and that the race did not take place in 2020 and 2021.
