XTERRA Lake Tahoe is a renowned off-road triathlon and trail running event set in the stunning scenery of Lake Tahoe, United States. The classic triathlon course includes a 1.5K swim in Lake Tahoe’s clear waters, followed by a challenging 35.5K bike ride starting with a sandy climb up Tunnel Creek and continuing along the scenic Flume Trail with breathtaking mountain views. The race concludes with a 10K trail run. The event also offers sprint triathlon, aquabike, and 5K and 10K trail run options. Although the 2025 event is cancelled due to trail closures, XTERRA Lake Tahoe remains a celebrated race for outdoor and endurance athletes.
