XTERRA Lake Tahoe 5K and 10K Trail Run

The XTERRA Lake Tahoe trail run takes place in Incline Village, Nevada, with the course starting and finishing at the Village Green community field. From the venue the route heads onto the local trail system and loops through tall pines, aspen groves, and several creek crossings. The course layout uses the same trail network associated with the XTERRA Lake Tahoe off-road triathlon and is produced in conjunction with that event.

10K two laps

The second lap for the 10K begins back at the Village Green venue, creating a viewing area for spectators. The Village Green is an open grass community field where event setup and staging occur. Race services include on-course medical staff, cold beverages and snacks, an event T-shirt, a free digital photo, and a finisher medal. Awards are given overall and by age group.

Organizers note that the event will not be scheduled in 2025 due to trail closures related to the Marlette Lake Dam Resilient Infrastructure Project and associated trail impacts. The event is planned to return in 2026. Entry fees vary by registration date; examples listed include $55 to $65 for the 5K and 10K and slightly reduced rates for youth and seniors.
