Ferris 50 is an endurance run held on November 7, 2026 in Minden, Nevada. The event offers three distances:

  • 50 M
  • 50K
  • 15K

All distances start at the Douglas County Fairgrounds arena and finish at TJ’s Corral at the Carson Valley Inn. Registered racers qualify for a special rate at the host hotel, Carson Valley Inn, which is adjacent to the finish area.

Course, support and policies

Courses traverse single-track, OHV trails, mountain bike trails, and limited paved sections, with surfaces including dirt, gravel, sand, and pavement. The 50M course includes seven aid stations at approximately mile 9.5, 15.7, 21.9, 29, 34.6, 41.2, and 46.2. The 50k course has four aid stations at approximately mile 9.5, 15.7, 21.9, and 26.9. The 15k course has three aid stations at approximately mile 3, 5, and 7. Bag drops are available for the 50M and 50k and are collected at packet pickup.

Safety patrols on OHV and mountain bike will cover the course. Participants should be aware of local wildlife such as wild horses and coyotes. Pacers are generally not allowed; trekking poles are allowed. Crews are permitted with one vehicle per runner. 50M and 50k runners are required to begin with a light source.
