Minden, United States • 8 Nov 2025
The Ferris Fifty is an endurance running event held in Minden, Nevada, featuring 50-mile, 50K, and 15K distances. Set in the scenic Carson Valley at the foot of the Sierra Nevada's Carson Range, the course offers a mix of single-track trails, OHV trails, and minimal pavement, with views of Job’s Peak and mostly gentle terrain. The race starts at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and finishes at TJ’s Corral near the Carson Valley Inn, where a festive atmosphere with music, food trucks, and vendors awaits. Aid stations and safety patrols support runners, and the event honors the legacy of George Washington Gale Ferris, inventor of the Ferris Wheel.
