Ferris 50

Ferris 50 is a trail and road endurance event held in Minden, Nevada, offering three distances:

  • 50 Miler
  • 50K
  • 15K

Courses traverse the foothills of eastern Carson Valley over a mix of dirt, gravel, sand, and pavement. Routes use single-track trails, OHV trails, and mountain bike trails; the course is subject to change and will be patrolled during race day. Aid stations are placed along each course: seven on the 50M, four on the 50k, and three on the 15k, with specific mile markers listed for each distance. Bag drops are available for the 50M and 50k and will be collected and tagged at packet pickup.

Packet pickup and drop-bag collection occur at TJ’s Corral at the Carson Valley Inn the day before the event; race day packet pickup is also available at TJ’s Corral prior to shuttle departure. Shuttles run from the Carson Valley Inn to the start area, and free parking is available at the host hotel. Headlamps are required for 50M and 50k runners after 4 pm and runners must begin those distances with a light source. Cutoff times by aid station will be posted prior to the event.

The finish and festival area at TJ’s Corral will include music, food, drinks, and vendor booths. Awards and finisher items are detailed for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
