Kokanee Trail Runs : South Lake Tahoe, October 4, 2026

The Kokanee Trail Runs on October 4, 2026 take place in South Lake Tahoe with courses along Fallen Leaf Lake and over Tahoe Mountain. The event includes multiple race distances, finisher awards for all participants, and prizes by gender and age division. The event is RRCA sanctioned and offers post race refreshments and food for registered runners.

Start and finish are located at South Tahoe High School football field. Parking and restrooms are available in the high school lots; race day bib pickup and packet pickup are located at the north end of the field. Early packet pickup is held at Camp Richardson Resort during Oktoberfest; Oktoberfest has free entrance on the weekend.

Shirts are sustainably sourced from 100 percent recycled materials. Adult unisex shirts will be long sleeve when available and youth sizes will be short sleeve. Orders placed after August 16 are not guaranteed a shirt.

Aid stations vary by distance and are stocked with water, Tailwind, and snacks. Tailwind is the official on course drink; additional beverages are provided at the finish line. Participants are asked to limit waste by carrying a reusable cup or handheld for aid station fills.

Funds raised will benefit the Nevada Humane Society and the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. Safety rules prohibit headphones, dogs, strollers, and baby joggers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
