Tahoe 200

The Tahoe 200 is a 200.4 mile loop ultramarathon that circumnavigates Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in North America, on trails in California and Nevada. The course follows the Tahoe Rim Trail for much of the route and includes single-track sections plus detours through aspen meadows, rock gardens, small high-elevation lakes, dense forest, and long ridgelines with broad views. The race has returned to the original full loop course.

LOCATION: Heavenly Stagecoach Lodge. The route profile lists 32,093 feet of elevation gain and 32,093 feet of elevation loss over the loop. Aid infrastructure includes 12 full aid stations, 3 sleep stations, and 6 stations with crew access. The official cutoff is 105 hours. The event takes place on National Forest lands.

The site lists a scheduled edition from June 21-25, 2027. Course maps and a runner manual are provided for registered participants. Media from prior editions shows trail and mountain scenes, including snow sections, meadows, ridgelines, and lakes. The race page references results from past years and notes that the course qualifies with certain endurance events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
