Tahoe 100K
The Tahoe 100K is a mountain ultramarathon held from Stagecoach Lodge, Stateline, NV, on National Forest lands. The course covers 62.3 miles on nearly all singletrack through the Sierra Nevada and runs along high alpine ridgelines with extensive mountain views. The route reaches elevations near 9,800 feet and passes Star Lake, described as Tahoe’s highest alpine lake.
The course documents list an elevation gain of 11,498 feet and an equivalent elevation loss, for about 23,000 feet of total elevation change. There are three aid stations along the route and a 24 hour cutoff. The course terrain is described as rugged and high elevation, with sweeping ridgeline sections and typical mountain trail features.
