Ferris 50 Endurance Run : Carson Valley, Nevada
The Ferris 50 Endurance Run takes place on November 7, 2026, in Carson Valley at the foot of the Carson Range of the Sierra Nevada. The event follows the valley foothills and honors the area’s history as the home of the inventor of the Ferris Wheel. The course combines single-track trails, OHV trails, and minimal paved sections and offers views of Job's Peak and the surrounding valley.

The race starts at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Gardnerville and finishes at TJ's Corral at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden. Organizers provide a free shuttle from the finish area back to the start for runners, and free parking is available at both the fairgrounds and the inn. Registered racers qualify for a special rate at the host hotel, which is located near the finish line and lists amenities such as an indoor pool, hot tubs, and on-site dining.
Awards and event features include finisher items and podium prizes. The 50 mile distance awards a long sleeve finisher shirt and a finisher buckle, plus cash prizes for top finishers. The 50k and 15k distances include long sleeve finisher shirts and medals. A finish line festival in Minden includes awards ceremonies and food and beverage vendors; the festival is free to attend.
