Sparks, United States • 9-11 Oct 2026
Sparks Biggest Little Ultra : October 9 to 11, 2026
The event takes place at Sparks Marina, 300 Howard Drive, Sparks, Nevada. The marina area includes sandy beaches, a fishing pier, a dog park, volleyball courts, a veterans memorial, a kids playground, a coffee shop, and a paved walking path around the water. The venue is near the Reno Tahoe Airport and adjacent to several hotels and casinos.
This is a two day event offering fixed time and fixed distance races on a paved, lighted loop just under two miles in length. The loop has a total elevation gain of 29 feet. Two permanent restrooms are on course and porta potties will be located near the start area. Partial laps are not counted.
Aid at the start/finish will be staffed around the clock with standard supplies and meal service during normal breakfast, lunch and dinner times. Vegan meal options will be available. The event is cupless; runners should bring a cup for cold drinks. Hot cups will be provided for soup and hot drinks at night.
Timing uses an electronic chip transponder; runners must carry the chip at all times since laps without a chip are not recorded. A secondary timing point will verify laps and live lap totals will be displayed.
Relay teams of up to six runners are offered. Awards include age and gender categories and 100 mile finishers receive a belt buckle and a finisher flannel shirt. Sponsorship opportunities are available and the event will make a contribution to Liberty Dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
