Labor Day Dash 5k
The Labor Day Dash 5k is a trail running event held on September 5, 2026, at Hidden Valley Regional Park in Reno, Nevada. The course is all trail and described as flat with scenic views. The event is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.
Registration opens April 5, 2026 and closes September 5, 2026. The registration fee is $45. All participants will receive a t shirt and a sticker.
Ages 5 and up are welcome to compete. Awards include medals for the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and ribbons for the top three in each age group and gender. Emergency medical services will be provided by REMSA. Because this is a sanctioned USATF event, only service dogs are allowed on-site.
The event is organized as a fundraiser benefiting Azteca FC. Azteca FC is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides athletic opportunities in track and field, cross country, trail running, soccer, and futsal. The organization is a registered USATF club in the Pacific association, Region 14, and supports athletes in northern California and northern Nevada.
