The Warrior Way 5K is scheduled for 28 September 2025 at George Whittell High School, 240 Warrior Way, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448. The race is organized by the high school Student Council. Registration options include a standard 5K, a discounted student 5K, and an 800 meter fun run for younger participants. The event will be held regardless of weather; refunds are not available and snow shoes are welcome if needed. T-shirts are sold separately and were designed by the students. Pets are not allowed on school property.

Course and logistics
The course is a trail route that crosses creeks and logs and passes through wooded terrain with trees and rocks. The trail is not stroller friendly unless a team carries the stroller through parts of the woods. Day-of registration and packet pickup are available, and awards are planned after the runs. Sponsor tents are offered, with proceeds designated for the student class fundraiser. Finishers in the fun run receive a small prize, and attendees can expect hot chocolate and medals.
