Warrior Way 5K - George Whittell High School

The Warrior Way 5K takes place on September 27, 2026 at George Whittell High School, 240 Warrior Way, Zephyr Cove, Nevada. The event is organized by the high school's Student Council. A fundraising organization is associated with the event and sponsor tents are available, with proceeds earmarked for a student class fundraiser.

The event is a trail run on a course that crosses creeks and logs and runs through pine trees and rocky sections. The course description notes natural features such as rocks and squirrels. Pets are not allowed on school property. The trail is not stroller friendly unless a team carries the stroller through wooded sections. The event is scheduled to run in all weather; refunds are not provided and snow shoes are welcome if conditions require them. T-shirts are sold separately and were designed by students. Hot chocolate, medals, and awards are part of the event, and an 800 meter fun run for younger participants will include popsicles for all finishers.
