Roller Coaster Run 2026

Roller Coaster Run 2026 is a trail running event held at Kalorama Memorial Reserve on Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Kalorama, Victoria. The event was established in 2012 and takes place on forest trails in the Dandenong Ranges. It draws crowds of over 1,500 people each year. The course includes notable changes in elevation, with both ascents and descents across the marked trail.

  • 23k Single Loop one full loop, mandatory gear required
  • 12k Twilight Mad Mouse head torch mandatory, age based discount for under 18s applied at check out

Trail runs nearby

Trail races at Woodlands Historic Park in Greenvale on 24 May 2026, with distances from 2 km up to 50 km and a 10 km canicross option; maps and GPS files are provided and registration is via Humanitix.

Unbreakable is a weekend trail running event in the Marysville region inspired by the Barkley Marathons. It features multiple laps of about 30 to 50 km, navigation-based challenges and lap time cutoffs of 8 to 12 hours.

Race 3 of the 2026 Trail Running Series is in Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges on Sunday 2 August. Courses of 7.2 km, 15 km and 22 km run through fern gullies and misty ridgelines and feature a handicap format.

A September festival in the Dandenong Ranges with a 13.5 km classic from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park plus family and junior races, timed results and event services, raising funds for Puffing Billy Railway heritage projects.
