Roller Coaster Run 2026

Established in 2012, the Roller Coaster Run is a trail running event held at Kalorama Memorial Reserve within the Dandenong Ranges. The course traverses the forest trails of the region, located near Melbourne. The event regularly attracts over 1,500 participants and features a variety of distances over undulating terrain.

Participants can choose from several course options:

  • 46 km Double Loop Ultra: This distance requires two loops of the course, with the second loop completed in the reverse direction. Mandatory gear is required for this category.
  • 23 km Single Loop: This option consists of a single lap of the course. Mandatory gear is required.
  • 12 km Twilight Mad Mouse: This evening run requires participants to carry a head torch and serves as an entry-point for trail running.
  • 1.23 km Kids Carousel: A short distance designed for children, where parents are permitted to accompany participants on the track.
