Roller Coaster Trail Run
The Roller Coaster Trail Run is a trail running event held in the Dandenong Ranges National Park on 17 October 2026. The event village is at Kalorama Memorial Reserve, 1190-1192 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama VIC 3766. The event was established in 2012 and regularly attracts crowds of over 1,500 runners. The venue is around one hour's drive from the Melbourne central business district.
Courses run through lush, ferny forest on well made but undulating trails with notable climbs and steep sections. The 23k single loop accumulates more than 1,150 metres of vertical climb. The event includes a twilight course and a short loop for children. Course design and on-course support are provided by the event organiser and a team of volunteers and crew.
