Reservoir Roundabout
Reservoir Roundabout is an annual walking or running event held on upland terrain in and around the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. The event takes place at Elan Valley Visitor Centre, Elan Valley, LD6 5HP. Routes are waymarked in parts and require map reading skills; a map and GPX file of the confirmed route will be emailed to participants in the week before the event. The advertised distances are approximate and may be changed if necessary.

Logistics and requirements
Entry fee is £20. A car park charge of £3.00 applies at the visitor centre. Entries open Monday 6 October 2025 and close Sunday 4 January 2026; there are no on-the-day entries. Entry fee and a kit check apply. The event is organised and staffed by volunteers and proceeds go to local charities. It is not run as a race and results are not published. The organiser advises that participants carry essential equipment including an OS map (Landranger 147 or Explorer 200), compass, whistle, torch, first aid kit including a survival bag, waterproofs, sufficient food and drink, warm clothing and proper footwear.
