The Rainbow Weekend 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Kent, Ohio. It is part of Main Street Kent's fifth annual Rainbow Weekend and uses the theme "Visibility is Victory." The event is organized as a 5K walk and fun run. The route runs through the trees of the Portage Hike & Bike Trail and begins and ends at North Water Brewing Company, 101 Crain Ave, Kent, OH 44240.

Logistics and fundraising

Registration fees change by date: $25 plus a registration fee from August 1-31; $30 plus the fee starting September 1; and $35 plus the fee from September 16 to October 17. Registration closes on October 18, 2025. A ticket includes participation in the 5K, a T-shirt (organizers note T-shirt size and availability cannot be guaranteed after September 15), and a 5K medal for the first 100 participants to cross the finish line. The finish area will host an End of the Rainbow Party at North Water Brewing Company; $1 from each drink purchased there will be donated to The Portage Foundation’s LGBTQ+ Fund, the listed beneficiary for 2025.
