Little Oregon Trail Run

Little Oregon Trail Run is a trail event in Cleveland Metroparks at South Mastick Picnic Area on Saturday, March 20, 2027. The 13K course includes a single-track section through rows of pine trees, a feature that inspired the event name. Parking is available at South Mastick Picnic Area and requires a short walk to the starting area.

Distances offered:

• 13K Trail Race : 8.2 miles (about 13 km)
• 5K Hike/Run : 3.5 miles (about 3.1 miles)
• 13K Ruck : 8.2 miles, includes patch
• 5K Ruck : 3.5 miles, includes patch
• Kid's Fun Run : about 0.25 to 0.5 miles

All participants receive a fleece hoodie or fleece crew when registered in time. The trail races are chip timed. Post-race snacks will be available and children in the fun run receive a sticker and a cookie. Additional swag includes a Chestnut Beaverton sticker.

Registration fees listed in the event materials are $40 for the trail race entries, $45 for ruck entries, and free for the Kid's Fun Run. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Second Sole in Lakewood and on race day at South Mastick Picnic Area. Overall and age-group prizes are planned; a Hardened Steel competitive division is noted for the ruck category and awards are subject to participant thresholds.
