Leave No Trace takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Camp Manatoc, 1075 Truxell Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. The event is part of the Dirty Trail Series and offers these options:
- Half Marathon (price: $70)
- 15k (price: $50)
- 5k (price: $30)
The 15k and 5k distances are new for 2026. The event allows running or hiking, and organizers have permission for dogs to accompany entrants on the course at Camp Manatoc.
Course, swag and logistics
The course is mostly single-track trail through a white pine grove with many quick turns, numerous hills, and a section past Minnehaha Falls. The route uses Boy Scout camp trails that are open to the public only during Western Reserve Racing events. Swag for finishers includes a finisher medal plus one choice from: triblend tee, crossbody bag, ice bandana, or a CVNP water bottle. Awards and donations
Awards are given for top 3 overall male and female finishers and top 3 male and female in 5-year age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & Over.
