Burning River Endurance Runs and Relay
The Burning River Endurance Runs and Relay is scheduled for July 25–26, 2026 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, with race operations based at the Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls. The event marks its 20th anniversary and includes multiple individual and team race options that use local parks and trail corridors.
The event includes the following distances:
- 100 Mile: Out and back between Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Springs Park
- 50 Mile: Point to point from Cuyahoga Falls to Silver Springs Park
- Back Half 50 Mile: Point to point from Silver Springs Park to Cuyahoga Falls
- Marathon: Point to point from Oak Hill to Silver Springs Park
- 100 Mile 8 Person Relay: Out and back on the same course as the 100 Mile
Courses travel through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Summit Metro Parks. Each event has specified time cutoffs and support; the 100 Mile race is designated as a Western States qualifying race for runners who finish within the stated qualifying time. Pacers are permitted under the published rules, including paced segments beginning at mile 50 for 100 Mile runners and pacing allowances for older competitors.
