The Down & Dirty 5 Mile & 10 Mile takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Oak Hill Trail Head in Cuyahoga Valley National Park (3901 Oak Hill Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264). The race is part of the Dirty Trail Series and is organized by Western Reserve Racing. The event allows participants to run or hike the course.

Course, awards and extras
The course runs at Oak Hill and features varied terrain: a fast descent into the valley, a long uphill climb, and sections of twisting, rooted trails before the finish. Finisher swag includes a medal plus one choice of a triblend tee, travel mug, or CVNP water bottle. Donations from the event benefit the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups from 14 & under through 70 & over.
