Down & Dirty
Down & Dirty is a trail event held at the Oak Hill Trail Head in Peninsula, Ohio, inside the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The event offers options to run or hike on natural, rooted trails that include a fast descent into the valley followed by a long uphill climb and twisting singletrack sections.
Two distance options are offered:
- 5 Mile
- 10 Mile
Entry fees listed for the event are $35 for the 5 mile and $65 for the 10 mile. The course uses Oak Hill terrain and finishes after sections of twisting, rooted trail. The event is part of the Dirty Trail Series, which includes an optional VIP membership that provides race discounts, footwear discounts at Vertical Runner, multiple swag options, and an invitation to a series awards party.
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers in each event, and top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 & Under up to 70 & Over.
