Down & Dirty 5 Mile & 10 Mile takes place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Oak Hill Trail Head in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Peninsula, OH. The event offers two distance options:

  • 5 Mile
  • 10 Mile

Entry fees listed for the event are $35 for the 5-mile and $60 for the 10-mile. The course at Oak Hill features varied terrain. The route begins with a fast descent into the valley, followed by a long uphill climb, then meanders over and around twisting, rooted trails to the finish. Finishers receive a medal plus one of: a triblend tee, a travel mug, or a CVNP water bottle. Donations from the event benefit the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 & Under through 70 & Over.
