The Regal Beagle Ultra is a loop trail event in Akron, Ohio, offered in multiple distances. The course highlights the 404 acre Bath Nature Preserve and the 41 acre Bath Community Park and runs from the Regal Beagle at 4240 Ira Rd. The route passes wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills and uses a mix of paved and gravel roads plus dirt and grass trails.

Distances:

  • 50K six roughly five mile loops
  • 25K three roughly five mile loops
  • 5 Mile single loop option

Each loop includes two aid stations. Course elevation is about 400 feet of gain per loop. The event has a course time limit of eight hours. Pacing assistance is not permitted for the 50K or other distances. A portion of proceeds supports the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station.

Awards are given for overall and masters places by gender and for first in each age group. All participants receive a custom finisher gift and all finishers receive a Regal Beagle themed medal. Course record bonuses are offered: $100 for a new 50K record and $50 for a new 25K record; course records and overall awards are determined by gun time.
