The Regal Beagle Ultra is a loop trail event held at the Bath Nature Preserve and Bath Community Park. The course passes through wetlands, woodlands, and rolling hills on a mix of paved and gravel roads, and dirt and grass trails.

Distances offered:

  • 50K six roughly 5-mile loops
  • 25K three roughly 5-mile loops
  • 5 Mile single loop

The 50K and 25K use multiple loops with two aid stations per loop. Course elevation is about 400 feet of gain per loop. The event enforces an 8-hour course limit. No pacers are allowed for any distance. A portion of event proceeds will benefit the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station.

The start and finish are at the Regal Beagle, 4240 Ira Rd., with parking directed toward the University of Akron Field Station for race day and packet pickup. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Regal Beagle, with limited race-day pickup available near the start/finish. All finishers receive a custom finisher gift and a Regal Beagle medal. Course record bonuses are listed for the 50K and 25K, and course records and overall awards are determined by gun time.
