Get Lucky 50/50, Canal Fulton OH

Get Lucky 50/50 offers three out and back trail races along the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath Trail, all starting at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. Distances served are listed below.

  • 50 miles
  • 50K
  • 25K

The course travels south along the towpath with turn around points at the edge of Massillon for the 25K, Navarre for the 50K, and Bolivar for the 50 mile. Runners have a 14 hour overall cutoff to complete their chosen distance. The event uses a cupless format; each runner must carry a hydration pack or handheld bottle and also bring a reusable cup for aid station water and electrolytes.

Aid stations are placed at approximate mile marks including 5, 7.5, 10, 15.5, 22, 25, 28, 35, 40 and 45. Some stations allow crew access and the 25 mile station at Bolivar serves as the drop bag location for 50 mile entrants. The 25K turn around station at mile 7.5 will be removed after the last 25K runner passes, which may leave a longer gap between stations for returning 50K and 50 mile runners.

Entry includes automatic participation in a 50 50 drawing funded by ten dollars of each entry fee. Awards include overall male and female winners, age group awards across multiple brackets, and a finisher medal for each finisher. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and the morning of the race at St Helena Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
