Regal Beagle Ultra
The Regal Beagle Ultra is a trail and road loop event in Akron, Ohio, featuring multiple distances that showcase Bath Nature Preserve and Bath Community Park. The course traverses wetlands, woodlands, paved and gravel roads, and dirt and grass trails within the preserve and park.
Distances offered:
- 50K: six roughly 5 mile loops, about 400 feet of gain per loop, two aid stations per loop.
- 25K: three roughly 5 mile loops, two aid stations per loop.
- 5 Mile: single loop option using the same park terrain.
The event uses a loop format with aid stations on each loop. There is a course time limit of 8 hours and pacers are not permitted for the 50K or any other distance. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Bath Nature Preserve and the University of Akron Field Station and supports capital improvements and programming at those sites.
Registration fees vary by date; listed maximum prices for the 2026 season are $85 for the 50K, $70 for the 25K, and $40 for the 5 Mile. All finishers receive a custom finisher gift and a Regal Beagle medal; a deadline is provided for guaranteed shirt sizes. The event is organized by Fast Girls Running Company.
