High Lea 6/12/24 hour - Richfield Heritage Preserve

The event offers multiple timed ultrarunning options at Richfield Heritage Preserve in Richfield, Ohio. The marked loop is 2.92 miles with 225 feet of gain and is mostly shaded, running on camp roads and trail. The camp roads are gravel and not paved. A portion of proceeds will support capital improvements at the preserve. Walkers and hikers are welcome.

Race services include an aid station at the summer barn with grab and go food, hot overnight options such as ramen or broth, and drinks. Restrooms are available along camp roads but do not have running water. Camping and participant parking are at the summer barn; camping is available Friday night. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 15 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the summer barn, 2445 Oviatt Rd, Richfield OH 44286.

Event rules note pacers are permitted at course halfway points for the 24 hour and 100 mile options. Minimum ages are 18 for the 24 hour and 100 mile events, and 16 for the 12 hour. On June 28, 2026 at Brecksville Reservation, Buckeye Trail features trail races of 25k and 50k as part of the Ohio Endurance Series. The 50k began in 1994 and is recognized as Ohio's oldest trail 50k.

Akron Trail Marathon on July 11, 2026 offers marathon, half marathon, and 10K routes that leave downtown and run along the Towpath into Summit Metro Parks with limestone trail sections and rugged hills.

The Flock of Flamingos will take place in Parma on Saturday 11 July 2026. You can run 5 miles.

A second annual cross country event at Seven Hills Recreation Center with a 5K and a 1-mile family walk. The course includes grass, gravel and a short wooded trail, with entertainment and midday food trucks during the Home Days Event.
