High Lea 6/12/24 hour
High Lea is an ultrarunning event at Richfield Heritage Preserve in Richfield, OH on May 16, 2026. The event offers multiple formats:
- 100 Mile
- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour Day
- 12 Hour Night
- 6 Hour
The course is a 2.92 mile loop with 225 ft of elevation gain. Most of the route is shaded and follows camp roads and trails; the camp roads are gravel. A bridge on the mapped route remains closed and the race may be run in the opposite direction from the public Strava route. The event allows walkers and hikers.
Pacer rules permit a pacer at the halfway point for 24 hour runners and a pacer at 50 miles for 100 mile runners. Minimum ages are 18 for the 24 hour and 100 mile events and 16 for the 12 hour. Aid station service will use grab and go containers plus hot food overnight, including ramen or broth and coffee. Restrooms are available throughout the park but do not have running water.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at the summer barn; the address given is 2445 Oviatt Rd, Richfield OH 44286. Camping is available Friday night at the summer barn and spectators may park at 4374 Broadview Rd. Race timing uses chip timing with a lap-o-meter, leader board, and live tracking.
