The course is a 2.92-mile loop with 225 feet of gain. Most of the route is shaded and runs on camp roads and trail; the camp roads are gravel. Temperatures in late May at this location average between 58 and 78 degrees. Minimum age to register is 18 for the 24 hour and 100 mile events and 16 for the 12 hour.
Course, race rules and prizes
The 100 mile event has a 30-hour cutoff. Pacers are allowed at the halfway point for 24 hour runners and at 50 miles for 100 mile runners. Belt buckles are awarded to 100 mile and 100k finishers; other distances receive medals and all registered participants receive T-shirts (preferred shirt size deadline: April 20, 2026).
Logistics and services
Packet pickup is scheduled at the summer barn on the day before the race; the pickup location address is 2445 Oviatt Rd., Richfield, OH 44286. Camping and participant parking are at the summer barn; camping opens Friday evening. Aid station service is at the summer barn and offers grab-and-go food, hot food overnight, drinks, and coffee.
