Event Format

The High Lea event is a timed ultramarathon offering 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour options, as well as a 100-mile race. All distances share the same loop course.

Course Details

The course is a 2.92-mile loop with 225 feet of elevation gain per loop. It runs on gravel camp roads and trails within the Richfield Heritage Preserve in Richfield, Ohio. Most of the course is shaded. A bridge on the course remains closed and will likely not be repaired for the race.

Aid and Logistics

The aid station is located at the summer barn and will offer typical ultra fare like chips, pretzels, candy, soda, sports drink, water, gels, and hot food like ramen overnight. Restrooms are available along the camp roads but do not have running water. The race is chip-timed, with live tracking and a leaderboard.

Additional Information

Camping is available from the night before at the summer barn. Walkers and hikers are welcome. A portion of the proceeds supports capital improvements at the Richfield Heritage Preserve. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
