Everyone Runs Catalina State Park Half Marathon and 5.3 Mile Trail Races
The event on April 4, 2026 is held at Catalina State Park, 11570 N Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ. Races start and finish at the park trailhead by the main parking lot and follow marked singletrack and park trails.
Distances
- Half marathon - 13.1 miles; includes the Bridal Trail out-and-back plus a second loop of the main course.
- 5.3 Mile Trail Race - 5.3 miles; follows the main trail loop and finishes after the Birding Trail.
The course route begins on the park road to the Nature Trail (clockwise, includes a steep initial climb), continues on the Canyon Loop, includes a 0.9 mile out-and-back on the Romero Pools Trail, and follows the one-mile Birding Trail loop. Half marathoners continue onto the Bridal Trail and the 50-Year Trail before repeating the main loop. Directional markers and course monitors are used.
Participants should carry their own water; bottled water is provided at key points and a water stop is placed on the Bridal Trail for half marathoners in both directions. Timing is chip based and the chip is attached to the back of the race bib; wearing the bib correctly is required to receive a time and to be eligible for awards. Headsets are permitted at the runner's own risk.
Awards include overall male and female and age group medals plus overall first place prizes. Participant shirts, post race Mexican breakfast, coffee, and professional photos are provided for paid participants. Dogs are not permitted. Entry fees are nonrefundable and bib transfers require prior approval. Packet pick up and pre purchased parking passes are available at Fleet Feet locations on April 2 and April 3; a one day park entry pass is required and different rates apply for on site purchase.
