Event details
The Everyone Runs Catalina State Park Trail Races take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Catalina State Park, 11570 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85737. The event offers two distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 5.3 miles
Entry prices listed are $71.50 for the half marathon and $51.50 for the 5.3 mile race. Both events are open to ages 5 to 100. Dogs are not permitted. Entry fees are not refundable and bibs cannot be transferred without prior approval. The half marathon has a strict 3:15 time limit and is for runners only; the 5.3 mile event can be walked.
Course and logistics
Both races start and finish at the park trailhead and use the park trail system, including the Nature Trail, Canyon Loop, Romero Pools Trail, Birding Trail, and the Bridal Trail for the half marathon out-and-back. Water stations are limited; participants are asked to carry their own water. Bottled water is available before the Birding Trail, and half marathoners have a water stop on the Bridal Trail in both directions.
Timing is by chip; the chip is attached to the back of the race bib and a bib must be worn to record a time or be eligible for awards. Awards include male and female overall and age group medals, shirts (tech or cotton), free Mexican breakfast and coffee for paid participants, free professional race photos, and prizes for overall winners. Park entry passes are required and can be purchased during registration or at packet pick-up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
