The TMC Old Tucson Trail Run takes place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Old Tucson Studios, 201 Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85735. The event offers multiple course options:

• 8-Mile Trail Run
• 4-Mile Trail Run
• 1-Mile Walk/Run
• Kids 1-Mile (14-and-under)
• Lil' Partners 100 yard dash

The Kids 1-Mile entry is priced at $10 and does not include a shirt. Organizers provide commemorative race shirts and a souvenir race number for many participants. Pets are not allowed on Old Tucson property.

Course, access and amenities

The 4-Mile course loops through the streets, horse trails, and desert terrain inside Old Tucson Studios. The planned 8-Mile course uses a 2-mile loop inside Old Tucson, a 4-mile loop on Tucson Mountain Park trails, then a final 2-mile loop inside Old Tucson, with the start and finish at the Bitter Creek and High Chaparral sets. Terrain includes dirt, single-track trails, washes, and some rugged sections; most of the route is flat with a few inclines and areas with cactus. The 4-Mile course is not suited for chairs; the 1-Mile may be more accessible for chairs and strollers.

Amenities and event features include a post-race cash bar at the Bitter Creek set, a pre-order breakfast burrito option for $11, a western-themed costume contest, and awards with gift certificates for overall and age group winners. SAR members receive a $2 discount and the 4-Mile is part of the SAR 2026 Running Shop/Mizuno Grand Prix.
