TMC Old Tucson Trail Run 8-Mile, 4 Mile, 1 Mile

The 8 mile course combines a 2 mile loop inside Old Tucson, a 4 mile loop on trails in Tucson Mountain Park, and a closing 2 mile loop back inside Old Tucson. The 4 mile route loops through dusty streets, horse trails, and desert terrain within the Old Tucson grounds and is part of the 2026 SAR Running Shop Grand Prix. The 1 mile family route is less technical and is intended to be accessible for walkers, joggers, children, and strollers, though some terrain may be difficult for wheeled chairs. A separate Kids Mile is offered for ages 14 and under; a free Lil Partners 100 yard dash is also included.
Terrain includes dirt, single track, washes, and dirt roads; most sections are flat with a few inclines and areas where participants should watch for cactus. Pets are not allowed on Old Tucson property. Awards include overall and age group gift certificates to The Running Shop. All participants receive a commemorative sublimated shirt and race number; a limited souvenir medal is available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
