The Sabino Canyon Sunset Run takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750. The event is held in Sabino Canyon within the Coronado National Forest. Distances offered are:

Entry, cutoffs and policies
The listed entry fees are $45 for the 7.4 Mile and $25 for the 2 Mile, with prices increasing after January 31, 2026. Registration is limited by distance; there are no refunds, substitutions, replacements, or wait lists. Runners in the 7.4 Mile must maintain a sub-19 minute per mile pace. 7.4 Mile participants must reach the turnaround at the top of the tram road within 70 minutes and the third aid station at mile 5.1 within 95 minutes or they will be removed from the course.
Awards and participant items
The 7.4 Mile will present awards for male and female Top 3 overall, Top Masters, and Top 3 in five-year age groups up to 80+. Awards include performance footwear and Summit Hut gift certificates. All registrants for the 7.4 Mile and 2 Mile receive a race shirt; 7.4 Mile finishers receive a finisher medal. Post-race items at the finish area include Eegees, pizza, snacks and music. Discounts are available for Southern Arizona Roadrunners members; Native Americans and active duty or retired military are eligible for a 10% discount.
