Pecan Classic
The Pecan Classic is one event in a three part series of 5K and 10K runs hosted by Farmers Investment CO. The event takes place in the orchard setting where leaves are turning yellow, husks are drying, and pecans are ready for harvest. Temperatures at this time of year can be cool and suitable for running and walking.

The series gives participants an opportunity to experience the seasonal changes of the orchard and observe stages of pecan growth. Proceeds from this particular event are donated to a local non profit organization.
