Event overview
The Southern Arizona Triple 50 is a registration package that combines three 50-mile trail ultras held in southern Arizona. The three events are Colossal Vail 50 in Vail (December 6), AZT Oracle Rumble 50 in Oracle (January 31), and Old Pueblo 50 in Sonoita (March 7). All events use portions of the Arizona National Scenic Trail. Event proceeds are donated to the Arizona Trail Association to support trail protection, maintenance, and promotion.
Format, prizes and policies
One registration covers all three events at a discounted rate. Participants who finish all three 50-mile races in a single season with a cumulative time under 45 hours receive a custom garment, a finisher award certificate showing cumulative time, and inclusion on the series finisher list. If the three-race cumulative time is not under 45 hours, a $30 refund is issued to cover part of the garment cost. Partial registration credits toward future Arizona Trail Endurance Events may be offered if a participant does not start and notifies organizers at least two weeks in advance; such requests are handled case-by-case. Discounted registration is available for Native Americans, Arizona Trail Association members, and military veterans via a required coupon code. Registration closes Dec 5.
