About the race
The AZT Oracle Rumble presented by C.O.D. Ranch is a trail endurance event near Oracle, Arizona, on the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains, just north of Tucson. The course runs mostly on singletrack through Oracle State Park and follows remote sections of the Arizona Trail. The terrain is constantly rolling and passes through mountain vistas and desert landscapes.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 50 Miles
- 50K
- Half Marathon
- 12K
- 5K with no time cutoff new course details to be posted
The race benefits the Arizona Trail Association and is organized by an experienced race director with a team of volunteers. Packet pickup takes place at Historic C.O.D. Ranch on Friday, Jan 29, 2027 from 3 to 6 pm. The main event occurs on Saturday, Jan 30, 2027.
This is a cupless event. All runners are strongly encouraged to bring a bottle or reusable cup for beverages. A collapsible HydraPak SpeedCup with the Run AZT logo is available for purchase at registration or packet pickup.
