Oracle Rumble
The 10th Annual AZT Oracle Rumble presented by C.O.D. Ranch takes place near Oracle, Arizona on Saturday, Jan 30, 2027. The event is mostly singletrack through Oracle State Park and follows remote sections of the Arizona Trail on the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains.
The course features constant rolling terrain and is routed on trails within Oracle State Park and adjacent AZT sections. The event offers multiple distance options to cover a range of trail running experiences.

Organizers note that time cutoffs have been implemented for the Half-Marathon and 12K distances. A new late morning 5K will be offered with no time cutoff; course details for the 5K will be posted later.
This is a cupless event. Runners are strongly encouraged to bring a personal bottle or reusable cup for beverages. A 200 ml HydraPak SpeedCup with the Run AZT logo is available for purchase at cost.
The event benefits the Arizona Trail Association and is produced with support from a local race director and a group of volunteers. Packet pickup is held at the Historic C.O.D. Ranch on the day before the race. The surrounding area includes attractions such as Biosphere 2, Catalina State Park, Sabino Canyon, the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park West, and Mount Lemmon.
