The Windsor 50 Ultra Challenge takes place on Saturday 18 April 2026 from a basecamp at Windsor Racecourse. The event uses looped routes through Windsor Great Park, includes sections to Runnymede and along the Thames Path, and offers views of Windsor Castle. Routes form a figure-of-8 for the full distance and pass through surrounding countryside.

The 50 km route is two different 25 km loops (figure of 8) with 320 m of elevation. The 25 km route has 175 m of elevation. The 10 km route is a loop around Eton, Windsor and the Castle with about 25 m of elevation.

Logistics and support

Rest stops are provided roughly every 12.5 km, with a picnic at 25 km and hot food at the 50 km finish. The organiser provides marquee rest stops, catering (snacks, meals and energy drinks with dietary options), medical and massage teams, podiatry support, and mobile emergency medical teams linked to a 24-hour control room. The route is fully signed with route arrows and GPS tracking via an event app; a timing system logs progress at rest stops. Event services include shuttle buses to local train stations, parking at finish sites, camping options, and a finisher package that includes a medal, finisher T-shirt, and a glass of fizz. Options include Solo Challenger starts, an Ultra March category for walkers, and a Trailblazerz competitive category for faster runners.
