Trail Running calendar near Whitefish 2025-2026

Glacier Glide is a pursuit style Nordic ski event in Whitefish featuring classic and skate races for youth and adults. Lunch is included and the Viking Pursuit champion earns a free American Birkebeiner entry.

Enjoy scenic trail running at Herron Park with a half marathon, 10K and 5K supporting the Foy’s to Blacktail Trails Organization. Family friendly with a free kids race, awards, tacos and massage after the run.

Run the Foy's to Blacktail Trail Marathon, a 26 mile single track with over 5,000 feet of climbing and panoramic ridge views to Herron Park. Limited to 100 entrants, all fees support Foy's to Blacktail Trails Organization.

The Divide 200 is a 200 mile ultramarathon in August 2026 from Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta, through the rugged southern Rockies. Expect remote alpine ridges, route finding, and a capped field of 100 with Garmin inReach support.

Run 10.6 miles point to point through Lolo National Forest along the Clark Fork River, finishing at Ferry Landing by Quinn's Hot Springs on Oct 4, 2026. Expect rolling single track, scenic river views and a relaxed post race vibe.
