Logistics and support

The transition area (TA) is the central hub where relay teams tag off. Support crews may station themselves near the TA. Racers may leave drop bags at the TA; tents are available but contents may be exposed in windy or wet weather. Checkpoints (CPs) are located through each stage, are staffed, and provide drinking water and some snack foods.
