Experience a point to point mountain marathon on the Foy's to Blacktail Trail system in Montana. This limited entry event supports local trail maintenance and features a scenic course through wildlife habitat.

July 2026

A free one-day trail event on 07/18/2026 at Sweet Pine near Browning, MT, featuring 10K, 5K and 1-mile races with registration open 2026-06-14 to 2026-07-18; some races list an 8-year minimum age.

A 3.8 mile run or hike to the Big Mountain summit with 2,200 feet of climb in Whitefish, MT. Race awards include adult and junior winners, fastest leashed dog categories, and proceeds benefit the Glacier Nordic Ski Team.

An open 4.4 mile event along the Swan River in Bigfork, Montana, with start and finish at Lake Baked. Proceeds support a TFC campaign offering retreats and education in cold plunging and heat therapy for people with TBI and PTSD.

August 2026

Backyard ultra at Foys Lake with a 4.167-mile loop each hour; a solo last-person-standing format and a team relay option with a 24-hour limit, plus a 3K kids fun run.

Experience a true off trail adventure at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area where navigation is key. Choose from distances up to 20 miles and explore the Montana wilderness through a unique route of your own making.

A community wellness trail event at Blood Tribe Timber Limits on August 9, 2025 offering 2K for kids and 5K, 10K run only and 15K run only distances with free registration, chip timing, water stations and cash prize draws.

October 2026

Experience the beauty of Northwest Montana with a variety of trail races ranging from a family fun run to a technical 50k ultramarathon. Run through scenic forests and lakes while supporting the local trail system.

A point-to-point trail race of about 10.6 miles through Lolo National Forest along the Clark Fork River, finishing near Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort where participants can have post-race food, drinks and an optional soak in the hot pools.

Experience an out and back ultramarathon along the North Fork of the Flathead River near Glacier National Park. This event features gravel roads with 2300 feet of elevation gain and stunning views of the Northern Rockies.
