Bib pickup is available Friday at Flathead Running Company (132 S. Main Street, Kalispell) and on race day at the Herron Park pavilion. Runners must carry their own bottle for aid stations because there will be no cups. A kids’ race for under‑13s is offered free of charge; bibs are provided, there is no official timing, the top three of each gender will be recognized, and finishers receive stickers. Parking is in the main Herron lot and an additional stable lot; volunteers will direct vehicles. Spectator dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after; dogs are not allowed in the races. Walkers are noted as best suited to the 5k, which typically takes about 60–90 minutes to walk; longer courses may require special arrangements. Organizers may cancel for active wildfires or unsafe air quality; if canceled for wildfire or natural disaster, participants may defer 50% value to the next year or donate their registration. After the races there is an awards ceremony, giveaways for those present, a paid taco bar, and free massage service on a first-come basis.
