Le Grizz Ultramarathon

Le Grizz Ultramarathon is a challenging 50-mile race held annually in autumn near Glacier National Park, Montana. Established in 1982, it is one of the oldest 50-mile footraces in the world. The course runs along gravel roads paralleling the North Fork of the Flathead River, offering stunning views of the Crown of the Continent and vibrant fall foliage of aspen and larch trees.

The race features approximately 2,300 feet of elevation gain with gentle inclines, making it suitable for first-time ultramarathoners. In addition to the solo ultramarathon, the event includes a 50-mile relay, 10K, and 5K runs, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all levels of runners.
