The Foy's to Blacktail Trail Marathon is a challenging 26-mile point-to-point mountain race held in Kalispell, Montana, showcasing the newest trails in the Foy's to Blacktail Trail system. Featuring an all-single track course with over 5,000 feet of vertical gain, runners climb 2,800 feet in the first 5 miles to Blacktail Mountain's summit, followed by a gradual descent with additional climbs to the finish at Herron Park. Limited to 100 participants, the race requires carrying bear spray due to local wildlife. Aid stations provide water and nutrition along the route.
