Lucky Hare Half Marathon & 9K

The Lucky Hare Half Marathon & 9K is a St. Patrick's Day running event on March 14, 2026 in the Flathead Valley, Montana. The courses use the Great Northern Trail system and run from Kila to downtown Kalispell, with the finish at Brannigan's Irish Pub.

Race entries include a chip timed race bib, a shirt and finisher's medal, one free beer for participants 21 and older or an opt out option, a gear drop bag, and eligibility for top awards. Entrants are automatically entered to win the event prize called the "one big Pot of Gold."

Experience the scenic trails of Herron Park in Kalispell with a half marathon or shorter trail run. Support local trail maintenance while participating in one of the region's established annual racing events.

Experience a point to point mountain marathon on the Foy's to Blacktail Trail system in Montana. This limited entry event supports local trail maintenance and features a scenic course through wildlife habitat.

A 3.8 mile, 2,200 ft hill climb to the Summit House at Whitefish Mountain Resort on July 25, 2026, with lift tickets down, race swag, prizes, and categories for adults, juniors, dogs, and a Birthday Club.

An open 4.4 mile event along the Swan River in Bigfork, Montana, with start and finish at Lake Baked. Proceeds support a TFC campaign offering retreats and education in cold plunging and heat therapy for people with TBI and PTSD.
