The Lucky Hare Half Marathon & 9K takes place in Kalispell, Montana on March 14, 2026. The half marathon follows the Great Northern Trail system from Kila to downtown Kalispell, beginning at the Smith Lake fishing access in Kila and finishing on 1st Ave in downtown Kalispell. Runners meet on 1st Ave to use a mandatory bus shuttle to the half marathon start. The 9K follows the second half of the half-marathon course. The event includes a post-race beer garden and St. Patrick's gathering at Brannigan's Irish Pub with raffle drawings, music, and finisher awards. The event is presented by Flathead Running Company and lists Brannigan's as a supporting sponsor.

Early pricing is available through December 31, 2025; prices increase after that date. Listed entry fees at the best price are $75 for the half marathon and $45 for the 9K.
