Trail Running calendar near Aberystwyth 2026-2027

A 13.8 mile off road half marathon from the summit of Moel y Parc along the Offa's Dyke National Trail to Prestatyn beach. The hilly route includes about 2,450 ft of ascent, two feed stations and electronic timing.

A 50 km women focused event in Pwllheli on 17 April 2027 with a strict no-crew policy, minimum age 18, limited refund rules, and recommended third-party insurance.

A guided 18 mile trail across the Malvern Hills with over 1300 m of ascent, run at a social pace. Meeting in Great Malvern with parking and nearby train access, cost £39 per person and alcohol free beer may be offered afterwards.

Malvern Hills Ultra 2027 is a running event on 1 May 2027 at Abberley Village Hall in Worcestershire offering MHU 47, MHU 38, MHU 31 and MHU 23. Entry fees range from £70 to £95 with additional transport, deferment and transfer options.

Part of the inaugural Welsh Festival Of Running, the 100 Mile Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park gives runners 34 hours to cover 100 miles on a 5 mile loop. Entries are available for individuals and teams, with a timed 34 hour option.

Trail running along the Heart of Wales Trail from Llandrindod Wells to Craven Arms, offered in three distances. The event is scheduled for Saturday 29 May 2027 and entries open 1 June 2026.

A supported ultramarathon in the United Kingdom on 24 and 25 July 2027 offering 100 km and 100 mile options. The event is organised by GB Ultras Ltd and is part of the Ultra Great Britain race series with GPS tracking.

A skyrunning mountain event in Eryri's Ogwen Valley on 31 July 2027 from Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig. Three distances 40K, 25K and 15K run on marked technical trails with on course support and chip timing.
