Test your endurance and navigation in a two day self-sufficient mountain marathon for teams of two. Choose from multiple distance classes or a one day score event in the scenic Mourne Mountains.

The North Barrule will take place in Ramsey on Saturday 26 September 2026. You can run 5 kilometers.

October 2026

The Backyard Ultra - Isle of Man will take place in Saint John's on Friday 2 October 2026. You can run 4 miles.

A mountain running event in County Down on 3 October 2026 covering 11.90 km with 870 m climb, organised by Mourne Runners as part of the IMRA Ulster Championships and NIMRA League; GPS is not allowed and Level C kit is required.

SkyRun the Mournes features three demanding skyrunning races in the scenic Mourne mountains. Runners can choose from distances of 50 km, 35 km, or 20 km, each with significant elevation gain. The event is scheduled for October 10th, 2026.

A 10 km trail event at Eglinton Park in Ayrshire on 11 October 2026, organised as a charity run in support of Release Ayrshire; the course is fully marked and finishers receive event bling and home baking.

Nav Challenge 4 in the Mourne Mountains takes place in County Dublin on Sunday 18 October 2026. The unmarked course is 99.00 km with 999 m of climb, GPS is not allowed and a Level B mandatory kit is required.

The James Coulson Laxey Fell will take place in Laxey on Saturday 24 October 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

November 2026

The Narradale Fell Race will take place in Sulby on Saturday 7 November 2026. You can run 20 kilometers.

A cross country event at Ormeau Park on 8 November 2026, part of the Cross Country League, with youth and senior races from 1 to 4 miles and team and individual prizes.

December 2026

The Snaefell and the Tholtans will take place in Snaefell on Saturday 5 December 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

A circular 17.50 km mountain race in the Southern Galloway with around 800 m of ascent, running to the summit trig of Cairnsmore of Fleet. Checkpoints and first aid are provided by Galloway Mountain Rescue and proceeds support the team.

February 2027

A 10K trail run on the Cooley Peninsula on Saturday 20th February, based at McCrystals Track in Jenkinstown. The route mixes runnable trail and natural terrain, climbs about 240 m and includes a finisher medal; onsite parking is available.

March 2027

Trail runs at Culzean Castle on 7 March 2027 offer 5 km, 10 km and half marathon options across the estate with live chip timing. The event permits one controlled dog per runner and includes a medal, merchandise and refreshments for finishe..

April 2027

A 46 mile mountain event across three Galloway ranges with over 4000 metres of ascent. Solo runners or teams of two to four use navigation skills and face variable terrain with three manned food checkpoints and MRT support.

A 32 km mountain race in the Galloway hills with 1850 m ascent, featuring ridges and summits such as Curleywee and Merrick. The course is marshalled and supported by Galloway Mountain Rescue and runs under SHR rules.

A 20 mile coastal trail run from Portrush along the Causeway Coast Way featuring cliffs, beaches and the Giant's Causeway UNESCO site. The event counts toward the Endurancelife Season Leaderboard.

A two day, 60 mile off road ultramarathon on the Isle of Arran covering coastal paths, forests and mountains including Goatfell and the Bog of Doom. The route is fully waymarked and supported with pit stops and professional medical cover.

May 2027

A trail running event on Scotland's Kintyre Way offering a shorter 35 mile ultra and rotating section routes with relay options, varied coastal and woodland terrain, waymarking, finish facilities and GPS timing with proceeds supporting rout..

Norn Iron 100 is a long-distance ultra event listed on the UTMB Index with an iTRA 5 rating. It will hold its sixth edition on 29 and 30 May 2027 in Northern Ireland.
