Giant's Causeway 20 Mile Coastal Trail Run
The Giant's Causeway event is a trail running race organised by Endurancelife around Portrush on the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. The route covers about 20 miles (20.4 mi) along the Causeway Coast Way and sits entirely within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Runners follow a coastal course that passes the Giant's Causeway geological formation, noted in the event material as 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. The route includes sections of grass, trail, beach and coastpath, and features dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and ancient castle ruins. Total ascent for the course is listed as 2276 ft.
The race is part of the Endurancelife 2026-27 trail running season and contributes points to the Season Leaderboard. The event is also noted as a UTMB qualifier. Entries are shown as 32 of 100 filled and an entry price of £50 is listed in the event information.
Registered participants are asked to complete an online check-in about two weeks before the event, which includes confirming personal details such as an ICE contact and viewing a mandatory event safety video. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
