Endurancelife Giant's Causeway 20 Mile Coastal Trail Run
Endurancelife Giant's Causeway is a 20 mile trail running event held in Portrush on the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. The course runs along the Causeway Coast Way and passes the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO Heritage Site made up of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. The route lies entirely within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and includes dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and ancient castle ruins.
The listed course distance is 20 miles and the total ascent is 2,276 ft. Surfaces on the route include grass, trail, beach and coastpath. The event is noted as a UTMB qualifier and shows recorded course bests for men and women.
This event is part of the Endurancelife 2026 to 2027 trail running season. Runners who complete any distance at the event receive points that contribute to the Season Leader Board. The organiser asks registered participants to complete an online check in about two weeks before the event, including confirmation of emergency contact details and viewing a mandatory safety video to reduce on-the-day administration.
