Giant's Causeway Coastal Trail Run

The Giant's Causeway Coastal Trail Run is an off-road event situated on the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. The race follows a route along the Causeway Coast Way, passing through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Participants run across a variety of surfaces, including grass, beach, trail, and coastal paths.

The course features significant landmarks such as the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO Heritage Site consisting of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. The route also passes by dramatic cliffs and ancient castle ruins. This event is part of the Endurancelife season leaderboard, where participants earn points based on their performance.

The course is fully marked with signs, and electronic timing is used to provide instant results including split times. All finishers receive a medal and nutrition at the end of the race. Participants are required to complete an online check-in process approximately two weeks before the event, which includes watching a safety video. Experience a 10km trail race through Ballycarton Wood and along the scenic Binevenagh clifftops. This mountain event features 350 metres of climbing and concludes with a commemorative race mug for all finishers.
