The Quadrathon Challenge : Inishowen, Donegal (13–16 August 2026)

The Quadrathon Challenge is a four-day running event in Inishowen, County Donegal, held along sections of the Wild Atlantic Way. The event is staged over four separate courses, one per day, that together form a 105-mile loop. Participants can run or walk on different daily routes and may enter individual days or all four.

Distances available include:

  • WARRIOR: four full marathons
  • QUEST: four half marathons

Course terrain includes coastal and hill scenery and is described as sometimes hilly. Event features listed by the organiser include catering at the finish of events and finisher medals. The event emphasises group atmosphere and shared experience among participants.

Entries open on 28 August 2025 and close on 28 July 2026. The organiser offers an option to purchase an entry protection product (XCover) that may allow a refund if a participant cannot attend for unforeseen reasons. A 1.25 km walk with a personal alpaca was offered as a unique option in 2025; that offering is noted separately from the main race formats.
