Mourne Mountain Marathon is a classic two-day navigation and endurance event for teams of two set in the Mourne Mountains of Northern Ireland. Competitors must be self-sufficient for the two days, carrying all gear for an overnight mountain camp; the camp is basic but the views and camaraderie are praised. Each day starts with a set course consisting of a list of six-figure marked controls to be visited in order, with routes between controls chosen by teams.

The event offers several course lengths: Elite 55km, B 45km, C and D 35km, plus a Score option. Courses are planned on 1:25,000 Mourne Mountains Harvey Maps. SI-Card hire is included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
